A few common questions i — v
i.

How do I sign in?

Astor uses Sign in with Apple. Tap the button on the welcome screen and confirm with Touch ID, Face ID, or your Apple ID password. We never see your real Apple ID — only an opaque identifier Apple gives us.

ii.

My volume won't generate. What now?

Most generation failures are transient — the model providers occasionally rate-limit. Quit and reopen Astor, then begin a new volume. If you see a red error banner that persists, write to the editor with the topic you tried and we'll look immediately.

iii.

How do I delete my account?

Write to yask123@gmail.com with the subject line "delete my account" from the email tied to your Apple ID (or the Apple private relay address). We confirm by email and erase the server-side record within fourteen days.

You can also revoke Sign in with Apple at any time in System Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple → Astor → Stop Using Apple ID. That severs the link from Apple's side; we'll still need a note to delete the record on ours.

iv.

What does Astor cost?

Your first volume is free. Membership tiers and details are on the main page.

v.

System requirements?

macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later, on any Mac with Apple silicon or a recent Intel processor. An internet connection is required for generation; once a volume is in your library, the reading view works offline.
